Building/Ground: On Sticks 4

This three tower-houses have a particular structure, raising from a small concrete foundation as you can see on the construction pictures. The V Houses are made out of steel, plywood and red corrugated iron roofs.  -- ArchDaily

One of the principal premises was not to interfere directly the land, as part of the philosophy of the project is to respect nature in every possible way. The availability of steel by our client lead to the design of the clean structure with this material, which elevates the skeleton of the room, named EcoLoft, to avoid contact with the soil. The employment of corten steel to cover it, which over time changes its color, achieving harmony between the environment and the building.  -- ArchDaily

Aim of the design is to construct a temporary structure, by doing minimum excavation in order not to make permenant changes on the site. For this reason, the structure has been placed tangential to its site. When the building served its purpose, it will be transfered to another place. -- ArchDaily
